Classic Sweets for Classic Cars

I'm sure I'm not the only one who stocks up with a supply of sweeties for the classic road trip.

I recently re-discovered the delights of a sweet I thought had vanished forever - Lions Sports Mixtures - fruit gums from my childhood - and not the anaemic offerings of the same name from Maynards.

Any other sweet related memories or old favourites that are an essential on your road trip ?

Motoring just isn't the same now that Callard & Bowser aren't there to provide the essential butterscotch, barley sugar, liquorice toffee and the like.

Smith kendon tins of powder covered sweets were only available from filling stations now seem to be everywhere.
Another vote for Callard and Bowser liquorice sweets from me also proper apple sours , the ones that turn your face inside out ! Lovely!
