Some fantastic shots here from the French equivalent of the Goodwood Revival

The Circuits des Remparts at Angouleme, a mini Monaco

Amended link as for some reason the other one stopped working.

A truly great event that everyone who loves motor sport should experience at least once.

Speaking of as a competitor it's the most challenging event I've ever done.

If you want a seat in any of the tribunes, which I would reccommend as it is a long day to be standing and the view is not as good, be sure to book online via their website well in advance. This year we had a London Olympics situation, whereby you can't pay on the day for seats, which you were always able to do in previous years, however, half the seats were empty as pre booked corporate folk didn't bother to turn up. It is still a fantastic event which I am fortunate enough to live 20mins from, and well worth the journey from UK.

This looks superb. Great weather by the looks of it, too. Loving those Group B refugees!

It PI$$ED down in 2009 when I went for the 70th anniversary event.

We found it hard to get information about what, when, where etc.
and its wasn't a language problem.

We couldn't find decent views that weren't through layers of catch fencing,
(sometimes multi-layered).

Had some good lunches though smile
