Hopefully the PH bandwidth nerds won't mind the cross pollination but...

In the Events/Meets forum I posted this thread about the 2014 Rallye des Jonquılles - http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

It is a one day navigational rally in northern France open to 'interesting' pre 1980 cars with some exceptions for more modern 'really interesting' cars.

I'm hoping to put together a group of around 10-12 cars to make the trip over and claim some silverware for Blighty.

The thread linked above gives more on the specifics of the rally but a few pertinent points:

1) around £90 entry fee for a crew of 2, breakfast and lunch provided.

2) no experience necessary but you will need a navigator

3) possible to do it with just one night away, leave UK on ferry/tunnel Saturday morning, return Sunday evening. Land Dover at about 7pm.

If anyone is interested get over to that thread and have a read. We've got 5 confirmed now, 15 would be superb.

It would also give us a great opportunity to have a big PH booze up on the Saturday eve smile

The date is Sunday April 13th and this year is based in Arras, about an hour from Calais.

I'm quite happy to liaise with Bruno (the organiser) and reserve our places. Once the entries are open (probably in a week or so) everyone can fill in their forms and pay directly. Believe me, this event is staggeringly good value for money at about £40 per head.
