guidance on building a car eligable for the Mille Miglia

Hi All
I am looking to restore a Triumph TR2 with the basis of competing in timed rallies with the aim of potentially applying for the Mille Miglia (I know it is a bit of a long shot). I am going to have the car rebuilt to the original build sheet. Is there any guidance on other build sheets that I would need to follow under FIA etc. Any guidance with help.
