The engine, transaxle, headlights, interior and body mods, I could live with. But the Foose siganture of a set of huge wheels, no.

Yep, it's a very "marmite" conversion and AFAIK it's still not a drivable car which I did find surprising.

The man himself (7upJohn) is a member of our Europa forum and has posted lots of detailed pictures of the work done, which give a much better impression of the quality than the TV program. Here's the topic - it's several pages long with loads of photos if you're interested in the car.

Thanks for the link. Interesting they are still needing to go back and seemingly fix all the issues that a complete change like that introduces. Also, no Lotus badge on it. Pity.
Is that Leno's finished Elan in some shots ? Been waiting to see that on his website.

But I don't know for sure. I think he has a couple of Elans, one standard and one that he's tried to make into a 21st century 26R.
