Anyone got a spare WORKING Herald Solex Carb??

Has anyone got a spare Solex carb for a Herald 1200 that is in full working order that I can buy/have/borrow for a period of time?
My original one packed up, leaked and caused non starting issues. Bought one off ebay that was 'in full working order' and yes when I fitted it to the car it fired up at the first turn of the key...but leaked fuel and the threads on the castings were stripped so you couldnt tighten it properly to stop it leaking! Third attempt was to get a rebuild kit for the original errant carb and this has failed as well as it appears that the pump has packed up on this one. So I have 1 carb that doesnt work at all, one which does but leaks badly & is beyond repair! I dont want to get another one off ebay only to find that its useless too so kind of appealing to any honest Triumph person that may have one going spare that actually works.
I have promised that the Herald is to be our wedding car in June, but I need back up & running very soon as there is a bit of bodywork needs sorting and I need to able to drive it down to my mates bodyshop. Plan after that is to convert to twin SU's (the bits I need are off a Mk2 Spitfire though so not easy to find) or stick a 1300 Spitfire engine in.
