New member - Manta V8 query

Hi guys,
This is my first post, hello to all.

I'm after recommendations for a trustworthy garage/tuner in the south of England (preferably south west) who'd be interested in putting a crate Chevy 350 into my old Manta and do welding for MOT, brake work, etc.

I'd be most grateful for any suggestions

You could try Pete Farmer, although he specialises in A-Healeys he's built all sorts over the years, did an excellent job on a friends V8 chevy engined AH.

I just to Pete Farmer and the Manta is prvisionally booked in for some resto work prior to an engine swap.
I'll post some pics in the appropriate place later on.

A the Bristol Queens Square meet a couple of weeks ago there was a Manta sporting V8 badges. Due to it rissing with pain at the time I didn't get as far a seeking if the badges matched to what was under the hood. Someone more informative than me via the South West forum might shed more light.
