Silverstone Classic 2014

At last years event they had a Transatlantic challenge which involved huge Galaxies against Mini Cooper's and it was a fantastic race to watch. The difference in the way the cars delivered their performance and the fact that they were full on mental going for it at every corner made it the race of the weekend for me. Anyone know if there are plans for something similar this year, can't really tell from what is available on the Silverstone website ?

Booked up for all three days of the revival . First time i've been to this event, hope it lives up to expectations....

Oh it will. No doubt about that. Get yourself kitted out in period garb too for maximum effect.

Been going since I was 8 and it was the 'Coys Festival'. Admittedly now dominated by the Hatfield/Voyazides brigade but always a fantastic weekend. So much to see, and the exotica racing never disappoints. Always stay for the classic touring car races. Some races can drag but worth catching as much as you can.

The level of development that goes into classics at this level is astonishing. Big bucks now to race in historics.

You mean you don't remember it as the Christie's festival? Those very early ones were the best in my view.
