I need to see that Bertone in the flesh David.

Please give me a shout and I will inform Wim to give you a proper spot over there.

The woods and roads up there are glorious BTW.

Are you asking me to come over to your place before we hoon up to Winterswijk?

:soundslikeaplan:

My gorgeous Lilian looks the bits in a Spider and drives like a man.

I had a swell time steering that 2 litre of Italian yum David - the sound and the steering and the manly 5-box. Proper car.

You're welcome to come - we'll need drivers! May be better to travel down Saturday and stay the night here.

P.S. The brakes have been fixed on the Spider! smile

Sounds like a plan sir.

PM me your address: SAT is Kings Day - we have a king this year - and we agreed to leave Utrecht at 16.00.

Brakes: you know my opinion on brakes: one needs all the momentum in a car with under 150 brake. A good thing that you did them though.

There's a great Alfaclip at Petrolicious about a Lebanese guy with a shed full of 60s and 70s Alfa greatness. Can't find it now as I'm on my cell wink Have a great weekend you two!

Have sent you a mail with our address.

If we need to register at the event, can you do it as we're not on Facebook?

Done! Wim has made nuff space for us: Alfaholics!

200 kms and 2 hrs drive from Utrecht. So ETA 18.00 hrs is do-able.

Here you go Albert - just a little teaser - take your pick of what you want to drive! (although we'll probably swap around during the trip).

The GTV has just done nearly 300 km to get home. The exhaust is blowing quite badly (got worse all the way back - but we knew about that). Otherwise it runs fine - including nearly an hour in stop-start traffic as we went through the centre of Brussels by mistake. Didn't miss a beat.

Got loads of attention as well - Lut in the Spider, me following in the GTV. smile

And what a superb trio it is! Should be a fun trip.

The GTV looks great: which part of the exhaust is off?

Don't know which bit - will get it on the lift today or tomorrow.

Looking at ordering a Skytune exhaust in inox (made just up the road from here) - got one on the Q4 and it's quite noticeable. smile

Massive hole in the main silencer box. Welded a plate over it and it's fine smile

Just finished getting my Sunbeam Alpine back together as well - started first turn of the key - been a good day today.

Now have my own classic car club nuts
