A few pictures of my never ending build. Car started as a very early 2 door pre airflow 1200. 21000 miles and laid up in a garage since 1971. Rust in some of the more unusual places and sound where it would normally not be which was novel.

Finally back from paint

Now the fun part begins

Change of engine planned

Alloy radiator, Intercooler and electric fans all fit in (just)

And the grille still fits!

Lovely! Keep at it. Funnily enough, just the other week I put a little notice in my local newsagents window asking for any Ford of the 1960s, no replies yet, but you never know what people may still have lurking in their garages.

Looks stunning. That's going to be an awesome weapon. The MK1 is the best looking Cortina ever made.

I take it that the single-circuit Girling brake master cylinder is just for show?

I think its going, to be replaced with a bias setup inside the car away from exhaust pipes and will be servoed.
