Where do you get your projects?

Scouring eBay and Gumtree for a project, just wondering where everyone else gets their cars from. Had them for years, seen in someone garden or do you have special sources?

Just buy any classic in any condition. They all turn into projects eventually. My 924 was a show car 4 years ago, now it's a shed.

Colleague of mine bought an old Merc from a fella and spied a ratty3.8 FHC Etype lurking in a half hanging barn covered in leaves and full of water....I Expressed and interest and 6 months later the call came.

Marque specific forums can be a good place to look. I picked up my Scimitar on the owners club site and considering how many bits its currently in, its definitely a project!

Ebay's classic car section is also awash with projects and dilapidated piles of scrap.... So also possibly worth a look.

Not sure nowadays, but I found my Spitfire in a local newspaper and got it for a song. I think some who are not IT savvy sometime do not know the true value of a shed - hence bargains can be found....
