Help identifying some old speedo's/wipers and points...

Afternoon,

I spent yesterday at the local auction, and one of the lots bought was full of old car spares, mainly speedo's. I only wanted one clock (for the next project) so planning to sell on the rest and try and recoup some costs. The problem is I don't have a clue where some are from. Any help much appreciated!

First - these are smiths NOS points. Seem to be something very vintage - ideas?



And these wipers? 2 sets, again NOS. The second set seem to be different lengths, but the same style so I guess a pair. Again NOS:





Onto the speedo's - there are lots but here's the main ones im struggling with.

Austin?



Rover?



Something really old?!



Again, any help is greatly appreciated (mods - this is not a thinly veiled advert, I do very much need some assistance!)

I think the to speedo has to be off an MG of some sort, the second reminds me of an Austin (mini/1100)...

The last speedo is probably off some grass mowing / groundskeeper equipment by the look of it.

I think the large Jaeger one is Triumph Herald. Also, you must be right about the tacho - I couldnt work out the 3rd gear rough ground sign, but it makes sense now.

What about the points? When did you have to buy the full base plate with point rather than just the parts we get nowadays?

There's a rather large clue in the Ransomes logo...

One of the bigger manufacturers of powered lawnmowers for much of the 20th century, and still on the go.

Cassette points existed right up until electronic ignition took over. Some used 'em, some didn't. I know there's been models of car out there where one distributor manufacturer used "normal", and another used cassette like those - and either could be fitted, almost at random, to any specific car.

There's another large clue on the points------the greaseproof wrapping and the ex MOD label and part number, clearly ex military!

The points are from a magneto but which type or model no idea.
