Black Jack Brabham RIP

So sad to hear that Jack Brabham has died. He was a real Hero of yesterday. I saw him race, never met him, but was in awe of his ability. Nearest I came to him was to meet one of his race mechanics (not relevant, but he was a Scot living in France with a Russian wife!)who said Jack would leave the mechanics to set up the car before practice, do first practice, say what to do, fly himself home. Come back, put it on pole & go away - often flying home before the race!
