Not an Ulster, but the same basic car - a 1.5 litre. 1920s, and the car that really made their name.

Pretty similar, but a the back is more sloped on the Ulsters on google, and this is squared off.

Not quite. As with all things Aston, its never straightforward. Some Ulster have different bodywork. Eg:

Pre-warAston offered a range of cars based around a 1.5litre engine and, later a 2litre (which car clearly isnt). This car looks like an earlier one (series 1??) as the exhausts arent as stylish as the latter (see above). But its quite difficult to say more as we dont know the reg number.

Oh, congrats on getting married. Every wedding should have an Aston!

I can help out a touch then, the Reg was DLB 533.

First registered in 1934 apparently, and comes back as green on a car check, not black.

The old boy and his wife who owned it looked awesome driving off, and the sound was incredible.

It looks like an Aston Martin Mk. II 1.5-litre Short Chassis Tourer to me.

Surely, its an Aston - Martin Le Mans short chassis 2/4 seater?
Very similar to H3 300s the Worlds Fastest Pre War Aston?Though obviously in standard tune.

Yes,its a very late Aston-Martin Le Mans originally laid down by the factory in 1933 and registered in 1934.
It has a different ,lighter chassis than a MK2 or Ulster.
The chassis is the same as LM8 ,LM9 and LM10, the 1932 works Le Mans Team cars, hence the name?
The Ulster or MK2 chassis was first used in Team cars LM 11,LM12 LM14.
MK2,being short for "Le Mans MK2.
