Any good chrome platers in NE Kent / SE London?

Hi, after getting some old bike parts re-chromed and I am looking for a good chrome plating co within reasonable distance of Dartford. Any suggestions?

I've heard good things about http://douglas-plating.co.uk/ from a friend who has just had parts from his DB2 re-chromed.

I'm currently researching my options as I've bumpers and trim requiring some tlc for my MGB. I suspect I'll go with the above even though I've a feeling they won't be cheap... then again you pays your money...

Be interested to hear of any other recommendations, I'm Sevenoaks direction but happy to travel for a decent job.

Yours is a little closer to both of us, I'm by Dartford. Just checked on Google maps and three's nothing in it distance wise.

Interesting, they're only round the corner from the other lot so perhaps a trip up and a visit to both is in order.

Let me know how you get on if you do decide to go ahead, I won't be doing mine for a while yet sadly.

I'll give a big thumbs up to London Chroming on the Old Kent Road.

About 20 years ago I sent them my A10 tank to re chrome, reminding them that most of it would be painted and only the side sections would end up on display.

What came back 5 weeks later was absolutely outstanding.

It took me several months to then pluck up the courage to cover most of their handy work in paint & a pinstripe.

They were and probably are still on the pricey side, but the tank needed a lot of TLC and I recall trudging up to Farringdon to another chrome (triple) platers who did not want to entertain chroming it.
