Identify this car for me please chaps!

Saw it at a show in Edenbridge a couple of weeks ago. The front end looks very much like the Berkeley T60 3-wheeler my dad used to have, and it had a Berkeley steering wheel, but the badge on the bonnet said something different. It had a 4-pot of some description (so not the Royal Enfield bike engine the Berkeley used to have) but I can't remember whether it was longitudinal or transverse.

I thought Berkeley made a 4 wheeler, and I also read that they had a prototype with a "proper" engine that they thought was going to save the company, but it looks different from that.

Somebody suggested it was based on a Frogeye as the rear looks similar, but the front has an opening bonnet rather than the clamshell...

Any ideas?

Hmmm this one has an Electron bonnet as opposed to an Electron Minor bonnet I think.

If it's an Electron it's Coventry Climax engined if it's a Minor its the humble Standard 10 / Triumph engine.

We had a Bond 3 wheeler. No roof and I think a 250cc Villiers in it. The contest in our back yard was full lock doughnuts to see who could hold it on the tipping point longest without rolling it.

We had rescued it from a scrapyard for about 15 shillings or so in the mid 60's
