Driving near Guildford a couple of days ago and saw an old (60s I think) white coupe. From a distance coming up behind it I thought it was going to be a very old 911.
Getting closer I didn't really recognize the rear end, going alongside I thought it looked like a Fulvia Zagato, but then the front end was completely different.

Any ideas what this could be?

Thanks for the reply. I know the Olympic and it wasn't one of those. The headlights were quite wide and not particularly tall giving it kind slit-eyed look at the front.

Amazing - well done, that's definitely it.

Thanks a lot for that.

I didn't even know these existed.

You mean you didn't know it existed.

It was a one-off styling exercise by Zagato.

Weird, I saw the TCZ at the NEC classic show on Saturday, wondered if that might be the car talked about here, but couldn't actually remember what it was. Googled Rover coupe but of course that just brought me a lot of 800 and Tomcat coupes, so I gave up.

A very rare beast indeed then - now I don't feel too bad about not knowing what it was.

Pretty little car.

Thanks for all the replies and well done tog again.
