effect of a claim on classic insurance policy on an ordinary policy
Discussion
Anyone got any information to impart?
If you find yourself having to make a claim on a classic insurance policy, this will obviously have to be declared to the insurer of your normal policy too. Presumably that will result in an increase in the cost of both policies - but will it also effect the ncd on the ordinary policy?
Thanks

I had a claim on a classic policy with the Driving Other Cars facility about 3 years ago.
I only had one other car at the time which was company car but I Was named driver on my ex wife's car at the time.
At renewal a month later adding details of the claim put her premium up by £13.
The premium on my classic policy subsequently increased by about £6.
I recently added a 2nd classic to it and the premium went up again - by a whole £16.
