Simple question. Will decent regular E30's follow on the coattails of the now stratospheric E30 M3's, much as mundane 70's Porsches have basked in the Carrera/911S' glory ?

They have already started.

325 Sports used to max out at around £5k, there have been a few advertised from £10-20k in the last 12 months.

I loved my E30 323i. It must have been one of the first e30's and had a dog keg 5- speed, lsd and looked great in 2-door shiny black.

Much sweeter than the subsequent 1985 B10 Alpina.

I think they will steadily rise as much as any things else. Best advice I would give to anyone who is thinking of buying is buy the very best you can afford from the off . Buy a car you would be happy to own if it was worth peanuts, try not to get caught up in the value thing and you won't go far wrong.

Here's my two,

Much better. I thought it was Jemod W MWB.

Don't worry, we are just extracting the urine in a gentle way, and your cars look magnificent too. Congratulations.

I had this E30 in 1997, with M5 engine tuned to 340hp, was pretty fast but short geared, it went very fast to 285km/h but then it hit the rev limiter biggrin

a bit old pictures which I scanned in some years ago, so not that good quality.

Aha! Lovely, you certainly don't see many about, in fact the only other one I know of is the track prepped one in the classifieds.
Check you out with your fancy Sport Evo leads too wink . I'm tentatively flirting with selling mine this year when it comes out of hibernation as I have an itch to scratch. I really don't want to do it but have run out of room frown

Ha no worries mate wink . I thought I had settled for a bit until I saw something that caught my eye. I can't believe I'm going to subject myself to travelling the country again sorting the good from bad and looking at mostly overpriced junk !

A great deal of difference. The Sport would swap ends much faster!

Would that car happened to have resided in Cambridge area before you bought it? I think that's a close friends old car.
