The Jarama is the undisputed king of the overhang; a real 70's classic- as wide as the wheelbase is long. It lacks the delicacy of the Islero, but has more exotic capital than the GT4.
I could never warm to the GT4 at all. I think that the driver (same applies to the clumsy Mondial) always looks tiny in that cab-forward design.

The Jarama was a much more expensive car when new, of course. It definitely has a brutishness missing in the Ferrari. I quite like the 308GT4; I think they look good. I'm not really a fan of Ferraris or of Lamborghinis - I would much rather have a contemporary Maserati. A Khamsin, please!
I too quite like Dino 308gt/4. I shall never forget sitting on the bus from Florence to Abetone to go ski for the day and being overtaken with some allegro by an ever-so-slightly ratty one in TDF blue.
The one in dear Dinkel's pic, however? No ta. Not with those shields, those hubcaps.

Later examples were Ferraris, badged as such from the factory. The one in dear Dinkel's pic, however? No ta. Not with those shields, those hubcaps.
Agree on the shields though.

Yes JAYB, and I did not mean to imply that a Dino would be any less of a car, just wouldn't wish to gloss over what was an interesting period in the company history and a romantic gesture by EF as it seemed the company later did.castex said:

All were Dinos - Fiat could not resist claiming some of the glamour, to their detriment ultimately.
