Stolen last night from Shepperton in Middlesex, a red Jaguar XK150 FHC. I don;'t know the owner, but have seen the car numerous times both in Shepperton high Street and at Brooklands Museum, it was stolen last night from the family garage. Registration number is COG 7, can I ask you all to keep an eye out for it please? Thanks indeed.

That's sad news, but I fear that by now it is either abroad or has been dismantled for parts

By the sounds of it it was planned if it was stolen from the garage from what I've found out ... It's probably no longer in the UK Im afraid it's frobrably on its way to Brazil/Mexico so notifay authorities over their as lots of fancy stolen cars are shipped in containers to them country's good luck in finding it I will keep a look out but it'll be very hard to find it . shame too see these nice cars stolen especially if its been hand restored by the owner

That's a valuable car...did it have a tracker fitted? In fact, do any valuable classics have trackers?

It's not impossible but if it's original and +ve earth then getting a tracking device to work is a bit of a PITA.

I don't know if a tracker was fitted, I'm thinking not.
