The seller of a car has sent me a handful of pictures of areas of "concern" with this car. He says they are nothing to worry abourt, but the first picture worries me as it might show an area of rust by the screen which be both cstly and expensive to repair.
There are a couple like the second which show small bubbles.
What do you think ?
The car is in Canada and 45 years old, although it was painted 5 years ago. I have a lot of others where it looks vey nice.

Hopefully this in the right area.

I would fly out and look at it or get a friend in Canada to look at it for me

That second pic is more concerning. The first is just a bit of untidy finishing around the seam from when it was painted. The second is grot trying to escape.

Classic car + Canada = salt and lots of it = rusty cars. Beware.

This 100%. Larger problem under the paint in pic 2.

Think of rust like an iceberg, what is visible compared to what is under the water...

Thanks for confirming what I already suspected, although disappointment was making me look for excuses.
Pic 1 worried me because I thought it might be rust coming up from around the screen which had been initially covered over by new paint.

If it had been, it'd be escaping after five years in a fairly hostile climate.

I wouldn't be worried by either of those areas unless I was paying absolutely top money. If it hasn't broken the paint in 5 years its not enough to worry about
