The OSCA 2000 was subsequently sold by Brooks Auctioneers whilst his Lordship was still serving time. Offered sans engine and in fairly parlous state from memory, possibly at a Goodwood sale. Rumour was one of his former employees / mechanics was at the sale and bidding... I know nothing of it since then.

My In laws lived just down the road from Brocket Hall whilst "His Lordship" still owned it. I had the dubious pleasure of meeting him at a "charity do" in the grounds. First impressions were that he was a thoroughly nice guy and an all round good egg. However, it didn't take long for it to emerge he was in fact a weapons grade bell end of the highest order, with a cavalier attitude to his wonderful cars that were to him nothing more than trinkets of wealth and commodities to be disposed of as and when it suited. Along with staff and people in general. Dick!
