Parked outside the Kelham Island brewery in Sheffield, not somewhere you'd choose to leave your car.

I think its a Bugatti of some sort, but what is it? Replica/kit car?

It looks like a Bugatti Type 37 (the 4-cylinder version of the more famous Type 35)

That front axle, brakes, shiny wheels look a bit odd. Might be a Teal 'replica'. There's a bloke in my part of deepest France who's got one. I once used the word 'fake' in front of him and he hasn't spoken to me since.

After comparing pictures of Teales and Bugattis that looks more like a genuine one to me.

Much too sophisticated to be a Teal.
Interesting that it lacks headlamps, sidelights and numberplate, although all of these along with the mudguards are removable for racing.

Teals use morris marina front hub assy and tortion bars definitely not a teal. I sold my old teal to a guy in South of France it's not a red one by any chance is it

That one is real. It's the one in the pic I put up to compare with the OP's pic.

Good call. It turns out there's a guy in Sheffield who built an Onyx EB 37.

I must admit after a bit of a googling I do suspect it may have been an Onyx. Mainly because you wouldn't leave a real one where this on was left!

Never knew replicas of stuff like that existed, thanks for all your help chaps.
