My Wife lives in a house with me and our 3 Sons all of whom are total car nuts

Well on Wednesday she declared that if you can't beat then, join them and bought herself a 65 E Roadster.

To be honest I thought it would be a five minute wonder but she's been out in it all three days and even managed to put the roof down.

Well I am a proud Husband.....I never thought I'd see the day but reckon it's the amount of interest she/the car is gaining from fellas that might be doing it.

So there must be more Women out there with a taste for a classic?

Lovely e-type there. smile

Here's Mrs B's very own Fiat 500. It's her all time favourite car in her favourite colour. It was bought and rebuilt in total secret over a period of seventeen months and was handed over to her last month on the occasion of her mumble-mumble birthday. She'd sleep in it if she could. hehe

Shortly after buying my classic LadyB8 came out of the bathroom with a copy of C&SC pointing at a picture say "Can we have one of those" the picture was of a MB 300 Roadster. I told that sure she could have one, she'd just need to find a richer husband. LadyB8 is a Mercedes girl.

My wife tells me that an XK120 is what she would like as her classic. I have to admit I like her style.

Wedding anniversary present from me to us. Mrs is starting to fall in love with it, the kids won't go in the normal car any more and I think it's one of the best cars I've bought in years.

It's not quite as docile as it looks. smile

Swmbo adopted this:
[/URL]

I bought it for me 15 yers ago but 10 years ago I decided to sell it to buy a Chimaera.I was told I could have the Chim but "Benny is staying".

So, Benson is her car and the Chimaera is mine.

Our new next door neighbour has an Anglia, my O/H has a Riley 1.5. Two houses, two women, two classics...

If your wife is looking for an E-type this might suit. According to the description it is being given away free to anyone who will look after it well. All due to the tragic death of their son.

http://www.webmycar.com/zonecar/webacar.nsf/fr/833...

And if you look at the other E-types on the site, they are all very cheap too. Fill your boots!

Fiat TC motor?
Modified 1275GT, updated suspension, disc brakes etc etc. Goes really well, handles nicely and stops.

I love the fact that there is virtually nothing from the outside to tell you.
