Old Weber 45 Carbs

Clearing out the garage.

Found these Weber carbs. They were from a 1950cc 1969 MGB Roadster that got put back to SUs a few months back.

No/ 12507














Are they worth trying to sell on? Not sure if it'd actually worth someone recommissioning them, or are they likely to be scrap now?
I was thinking maybe an eBay auction with 99p start but the postage fees might be a bit scary!

Carbs? Plural? If there is more than one they won't have been on an MGB (unless it was pretty special!). I'd list it/them on eBay - Webers often go for a good price and postage using one of the typical eBay couriers shouldn't be at ll expensive.

The carb and manifold are worth £150 all day long .

Wasn't being pedantic, didn't know if you had more than just the one pictured and whilst it looked like an MGB manifold it's difficult to be sure from a pic'.

Refurb kits for DCOE Webers are cheap enough, work better as a pair though. Sluuuurp. Pop. Small fire.

A friend paid £250 on Ebay a year or so back for a Weber and manifold for his MGB.

Thread update - Sold for £145 to a chap in a classic car spares shop.
Pretty happy with that, and not having to mess about with eBay and postage.
