The auctioneer, Max, can be very funny at times. Well worth a watch.

I've only just tuned in but did I really see a MGA not reach reserve at £100,000? Didn't know they were worth that much!

Quite a few unsold lots and many selling below reserve.

The AM DB2 Vantage Mille Miglia eligible seems like a steal at £270k compared to the £164k DB6 Vantage sold at Beaulieu, but still some crazy prices...now for the F40.

Seems an extraordinary amount for a Twin Cam A. They seem to be making a lot of a rather undistinguished racing history from what I can see. I'm a little out f touch but to the best of my knowledge it's not a well known twinkie...

They're not worth anywhere near the estimate, even with history. I sense the tides are changing re' pricing this year. True, there have been some silly prices paid, but there's many a car being sold below the auction house estimate and, as we saw this evening, many a car being given a 'pass' despite a sensible in the room price. Also, has anyone else noticed the stock available via the main dealers? There are a lot of cars for sale out there that are simply not moving and are being re-advertised many times over. Me thinks the market's peaked...there's only one way to go now...

Could be that the tide is turning. A few headline sales, as there always are, but still any unsold lots and many others below estimate.
