I don't see the Lamborghini connection but the Giugiaro link could be true. The way the top of the door frame does away with rain gutters is a Giugiaro trademark, as is the the uplift of the side window line coming forwards toward the base of the A-pillar. The shape around the front wing and headlamp aperture is also Giugiaro, look at the Alfetta GT for comparison. It also looks like there are Lotus Eclat/De Lorean cues from some angles. Could it be a Giugiaro design study for a British manufacturer?

The rear quarter window at the back looks wrong for the Lamborghini.
This looks very much to me like the prototype Jensen Interceptor replacement from the mid 70's before Jensen went into receivership.

I think you've nailed it there. Front window profile at the lower A post, rear window profile at C post, mid-section swage line and aperture at the front end all seem to match pretty well.

This rear quarter view would seem to confirm it, although the only pics are of mock-ups, no sign of a completed example so the shell may be the only one in existence...

That works for me too, the rear view in the auction is pretty much spot on this image from the Jensen OC site.



Their website also has an image with a different bonnet to the previous image which matches the auction shell.
