Vinyl Roof Options

Has anyone installed or replaced a vinyl roof on a classic car using a modern wrap ?

I'm thinking it would be an economical way to either replace or fit a vinyl roof with the advantage it can be removed if you don't like it.

I assume the difficulty is getting a matt wrap material that matches the textured appearance of the traditional vinyl roof.
