Just had another foGooglfor it. Only 3 in the UK
These super-rare Italian Innocenti 'C' Coupes were designed at GHIA and manufactured by OSI between 1967 and 1969. Less than 700 were produced.
Penned by Sergio Sartorelli at Ghia as a follow-on development and extension of the Tom Tjaarda-designed Innocenti Spider, this very early example ('67) came into the UK in 2005 and is in fabulous condition, both mechanically and bodywise.
It's hard to believe that these chic cars were based on the Austin Healey Sprite platform. They share much of the Sprite's mechanicals (engine/gearbox/steering/suspension etc) and are therefore very easy to maintain in First-Class condition.
It has appeared in many magazines and books [inc. Classic Cars, Auto-Italia, MG Enthusiast, Austin Healey - The Bulldog Breed (Jon Pressnell)].
The car is well-known car on the Italian Classic Car show circuit.
It's estimated that less than 40 of these Coupes survive worldwide. This is one of only three in the UK and is the only one for sale (the other two cars - a red one and a green example - found new owners in the last few months).
If only I spy books were still around. It would be worth a million points

My wife has the earlier roadster version of this car.
It sees little use now and we ought to sell it, but it is almost disarmingly lovely to look at, so drive and to hear.
If I had half the brains of a gnat, I'd post a picture of it.
It (the spider) is a lovely fusion of Spridget mechanicals and Italian body.
It is a 1961 model, but still has front discs, a reversing light, full instrumentation...
It was Tjaarda's first complete car, when he was at Ghia as a young man.
Whenever we think of selling it, we cannot imagine what would or could take its place.
There are rather more spiders in the UK than coupes, but I don't move in Spridget circles and have never seen another on these shores.
I just looked up Innocenti on the forum and found the old "what is this" post, so I thought I'd add to it.
As with many cars of its type and age, 40 feels like 60 and 60 feels like 100....
And being a Spridget, it produces all the sounds of the era....
I shall see if I can find a picture and attach it.

This should be an image of my wife's Innocenti.
It is just the sweetest thing to drive. Echoes of Spridget and Morris Minor and ADO16 (engine note only on the last).
With the top down you have the sense that you can reach back and touch the top of the rear lamp.
Parking is a doddle. Next to it, even a Corsa or an original Ford Ka look absurdly bulbous and big.
I hope the image is there somewhere....
