I'm thinking SS100 replica - actually, I'm not. Those front wings are all wrong.

I'd thought Panther because of the spare wheel location, but you are right about the wings. SS replica sounds right.

Looks like a cross between a Duesenburg ( main body and grille) and a Cord ( front wrap around arches ).

Some sort of kit car ?

Something like that - those front wings which wrap round without any cutouts for the wheels are much more American than anything else, but the shape looks like it's moulded rather than produced through metalworking.

Also doesn't seem to have any surface corrosion ( just blown pic up to as large as I could)

Nice tyre, but the top of the radiator isn't quite a perfect match.

I'm tempted to suggest something Jag. Mk V or Mk IV related.

Likewise, good call, but the headlamps aren't in the wings It was the leather bonnet straps that made me think it might be an aberration modelled on a Bentley

Edited to say - now the Mk IV Jag is probably the one!

Agreed, but the Mk IV is close, though I'm still not sure about the radiator.

It must be something that has a sufficiently long bonnet to carry the albeit undersized spare wheel without fouling the door...

I've tried my best to enlarge it but starting with an image of under 2" wide it isn't easy. I think the plate read OLP 618. Could be DLP but for the rest I am as sure as I can be, which isn't saying much.



That isn't a jaguar grille I reckon though.
