I am servicing and generally tidying up my old Bradbury 4 post lift and need to know what type of oil to put in it.

Very oddly I am not able to find what oil It takes by searching via Google so I am asking if anyone on here might know or even better have a manual or oil list they can check for me.

Its a cracking lift but I never got any details about it when I bought it.

My google search revealed SAE 10. I'm no expert though, but that seems to be the right stuff.

thanks for that, I swear I get a different Google to everyone else, all I get is endless lists of ebay listings and links to folk trying to sell stuff.

Almost certainly the stuff sold as 'hydraulic jack oil' will do just fine. Same oil will also do for early telescopic shock absorbers too (I refurbished a pair of 1930 Newtons).

Sounds like you may have some malware that's hijacked your browser - not an easy thing to get rid of frown

Probably, its an old laptop that I don't save anything on but yet the hard drive is almost full.

I bet its so raddled with viruses they keep each other at bay. I only use it as a browser.
