Bergerac's Triumph on new Go Compare ad?

Is the Triumph Roadster in the new Go Compare advert the same one used in the 1980's Bergerac series?
It looks the same but the number plate is the wrong way round (J after the numbers rather than before)

Seem to recall, back in the 1980's when on hols on Jersey, there were about 4 "Bergerac" cars around, one driven by Jim Nettles the others as advertising in various shops etc

They used a few of them throughout the life of the programme due to reliability problems. The first one used in the early programmes was so unreliable it was frequently pushed into shot.

To be fair, I think it's quite a common practice in movies and on TV to push cars into shot when a close up of the car/driver pulling up slowly is required, regardless of the car and it's reliability - It's just easier to shoot it that way.
