Looked like a fantastic turnout of eclectic cars, tractors, coaches, mopeds, motorcycles, bicycles and everything inbetween last weekend.

Was going, but the heavens opened and no matter what, the car becomes a swimming bath, plus it is almost impossible to get in and out of with the roof up. But thanks for the link,

My colleague David Evans went in his Citroën GSA (now that's a rare survivor) and says it was one of the best experiences of his classic motoring life. There was quite a strong Brit contingent apparently.

It was from that C&SC newsletter that I found out about it. Captures the flavour and atmosphere of the day really well. The variety of vehicles out and about looks amazing and it looked as though there was a critical mass of classics to enjoy. Compared to classic events over here it occurs to me that continental events have more 'ordinary' old cars, much like the Citroen GSA (likewise the 2CVs, Dauphines, R4s etc). Which to be honest I find far more interesting, and
ironically less often seen, than over restored exotics.

When the 1275GT is back up and running I'll get over for it...
