Lagonda bonnet panels

I have what appears to be a late 1920's early 30's Lagonda body(may be a copy). The dimensions match closest to the 2/3 litre models. I have been trying to track down the front bonnet panels and have missed a few on ebay. I have included a link to the last set that was on ebay so you can have a better idea what I am looking for
I will also be upfront and say I am looking to spend around the £100 mark(that's what they have going for). Has anyone got a set they wish to sell?

Tell me more about what you are doing Andy, it sounds interesting. I could out the word out and about with my Lagonda friends but if you've got an interesting project on the go you may already know people in the club and on the facebook pages? Incidentally, I do not think the bonnet panes in that advert are original Lagonda panels. I don't think they would have had louvres on the top on the bonnet. They are probably someone's fabrication. Also, if yo udo locate some bonnet panels be careful to check the length as this varied from model to model as Lagonda moved the radiator forward to progressively accommodate larger engines. Rich. I am not worried about originals(I suspected they were not) as its a project build. In short its a 1932 ss2 chassis with Wolseley hornet special 12 inch drum brakes running,hopefully, a sidevalve studebaker champion engine(6 cylinder 2.8 litre). The body is either a Lagonda copy or a cut down original I will have to post a couple of pics.

Looks like an interesting project you've got there! I can see why you feel it could be a cut down Lagonda body from the way the body drops down over the chassis between the bonnet shut line and cabin (a feature of the T2 style body and onwards), no passenger door though and I think they all had one of those!

Also from dimensions quoted the bonnet panels from a Lagonda fit the body I have. There is no sign what so ever of their being a passenger door. It is an alloy body over wood frame.

Almost certainly been re-panelled at some time, probably when the back section was cut off.
