I just sold my '88E graphite grey 1.6 Gti, for £2,500. And I had about 3 months and 3 dreamers before I actually got the cash. It was a very nice one, obviously not Concorse but tidy, useable and worthy of a garage spot in a permanent collection . Some of the hype and prices banded about for 205 Gti's are insane. If only it were true.....

A lawyer complaining about inflated and extortionate prices. Oh the irony.
Hahaha, very original. I'd love to discuss legal aid rates with you at some point, over a pint of beer. You'll have to buy mine, of course
And I'm not complaining, as I own one of these, just expressing surprise!Yeah, I'm sure that 24.5K won't be the final sale price, but this arm-chancing stuff is mad.
