I just sold my '88E graphite grey 1.6 Gti, for £2,500. And I had about 3 months and 3 dreamers before I actually got the cash. It was a very nice one, obviously not Concorse but tidy, useable and worthy of a garage spot in a permanent collection . Some of the hype and prices banded about for 205 Gti's are insane. If only it were true.....

Hahaha, very original. I'd love to discuss legal aid rates with you at some point, over a pint of beer. You'll have to buy mine, of course cry And I'm not complaining, as I own one of these, just expressing surprise!


Yeah, I'm sure that 24.5K won't be the final sale price, but this arm-chancing stuff is mad.
