I have a boot lid which I believe is off a morris minor but all the pictures I can fins online show the boot lid to have a pressed rectangle for mounting the number plate.

So, what have I actually got here?

Any help apreciated

Did they make Oxford MO ambassadors? I thought they were all based on the Series 3 Oxford?

'twas not entirely serious and now I look it up, Hindustan seem to have gone from Hindustan 10/Morris 10 to Hindustan Landmaster/Morris Oxford series II and then Ambassador/Oxford Series III without the MO figuring anywhere. My memory of Ambassador taxis in New Delhi is that they were a lot slower than Morris Oxfords but that was perhaps to do with the driver.

There were never that many Morris MOs about, even when they were making them!

The only thing rarer that an MO boot lid is someone who wants an MP boot lid.
