Went "ooh - lets have a look at this" when I saw the title of the thread.
When I opened the link, that wasn't quite what I expected.

Quite agree, needs something doing with the front end, rest as you say is okay.

Looks like an ugkl mess. I assume it's mostly plastic? I guess some amature builder thought they could improve on one of the prettiest sports cars of the 50s

Another MGA modified in the spirit of a Cobra type examples.
Not doing it for me, just seems a bit 'naff' with none of the things nhetent class and potential. This is more my thing;

What a waste of a pretty little car. That's gopping and just looks like a tragic Cobra replica with it's awful modern alloys and flared arches.
