A bit far for you but Stony Stratford is a good event.

Brooklands of course but get there early - ie before the gates open at 9am.

I'm going to Stony with my Riley Elf again this year, great event and in support of the local hospice that looked after my father in his last few days.

I went to the local VSCC meeting in Audlem, Cheshire - pretty good turnout considering the weather wasn't all that nice.
