Can you help us piece together this story?

Morning chaps,
I was hoping you might be able to help us piece together the history of a Series II Land-Rover that was used to traverse Africa in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The ultimate aim will be to return to the car to as an original state as possible, but we're struggling to identify a series of stickers that were attached to the windscreen for various stages of the journey. Any help you could give in decoding our blurry photos or suggesting similar examples would be very much appreciated.
The long vertical word to the right seems to read 'insurance', with what we're guessing is 'token of identity' at the bottom. Beyond that we're a bit stuck!
There seem to have been more stickers on the window during the early years of the journey, which was based around north and central Africa. Any help would be very much appreciated.

The wording across the top of the 59 and 60 windscreen stickers appears to be five words, middle one "of"?, rather than just the two of Southern Rhodesia. I wonder if various British colonies used similar stickers? Could just be "Motor Vehicle or Trailer Licence", like the bottom of the Rhodesian one.
But none of them seem to quite fit.
