Just found out today, always thought it was 15 year Lancaster did 15 but apparently its now 30 years old min, if you have a policy like me with the car being slightly less than 30 years old i would keep it going as they have to honour it

I don't think all insurance companies have the same policies. Try Peter Best, with them it depends on a number of factors weather your car is eligable for classic policy, age and make being the most important. I once insured an 11 year old Jaguar XJR with them under a classic policy, but they won't insure my 11 year old Honda S2000, saying it would have to be 20 years old for them to consider it a classic!
