Back in 2008/2009 IIRC, Some of the PH stallwarts might remember us helping her out once before when she was owned by Ollie and he came on here wanting help with kitting out Audreys (her nickname) interior with AV hardware and some where generous enough to donate hardware and we all gave advice and support.
See Audrey
Well she used to travel with a 20ft trailer, which was thought to have suffered the same fate as her 6 sisters and dissappeared in to a scrap heap somewhere. However, we were wrong. 3 years ago Ollie received a phone call to hear that something like it had been sported in a field and on further inspection it was one of the 7 trailers and more importantly it was Audreys original one (KJU267E)
Two year he decided to move on and sold her and her trailer to a good friend of mine and as soon as I knew what he had bought I offered to help out running her looking after all the tech and AV stuff (because it is what I do for a living). Since then we have been working together keeping her going with running repairs along with an excellent truck and bus garage.
But now it is time for something major!
We want to restore the trailer, but it needs to be a ground up restoration and is far to big for us to accomplish on our own.
So we have launched a crowd funding campaign to see if we can get the financial support we need complete the external restoration to original and kit out the interior as a 1920's/30's cocktail bar inkeeping with the interior of the cinema herself.
Lots more details about her, the trailer and the scheme on the website, please have a look.
Many Thanks in advance.
Vex.

I saw Audrey a couple of years ago in Kent and enjoyed watching a film in a pub car park on the Isle of Sheppey. It's a great project, good luck with the trailer restoration.

See Audrey lives just down the road at Bicester Heritage. Would you be interested in bringing her up
to Brill for a few shows to help with your funding ? Should be able to guarantee several sell outs
if we can work a deal.
Let me talk to Ben, the guy in the video and her owner. See Audrey lives just down the road at Bicester Heritage. Would you be interested in bringing her up

She is pretty booked up at the the moment and away at the Edinburgh Festival for the whole of August and then Aberdeen as the centrepiece of an exhibition for the Oil & Gas show in September.
To show real films it is a bit of a nightmare with licensing which we why we tend to do events and use Pathe News Footage.
She is on the move again this week.
Being trailered up to Edinburgh in time for the start of the Edinburgh Comedy Fesival and she has a packed program of event, films from some of the nations favourite comedeans and full sets from a good number also.
Her full diary of events are here.
