I hope you agree this is an amazing display of racing in a classic car race in the US. The car is a Triumph Vitesse 2ltr MK2 saloon LHD and was originally a sort of Triumph backed car that was prepared by US West Coast Triumph legend Kas Kastner. The MK2 was never marketed in the US. I have actually seen the car racing at Road Atlanta in Georgia and as a Triumph fan who'd just moved to America is was a fantastic sight.
You can probably skip the first 5 mins as it's a warm up and the Vitesse is at the back of the pack. But when the flag goes down it starts reeling the others in with no mercy. And oh boy does that engine sound good.

Blimey! We thought British airfield circuits were featureless!

I watched it earlier and thought exactly the same!

I've heard stories of drivers in the Sebring 12-hours getting lost at night, and driving off onto another part of the airfield amongst all the parked military planes. I think US airfields are a LOT bigger than British ones.

I was taken a bit unawares by the rolling start. Not something we see too often in Europe.

Triumph never exploited the Vitesse in racing. They rallied them a few times.
Probably they wanted rather to promote the TR5/6, while the Vitesse was marketed as an upmarket family car (Yes, small as it was!)
As they had crammed in the six cylinder 2L engine, the 2.5L is no problem, and as both cars weigh about the same they have the same power/weight ratio. Which I enjoy, as I race the only remaining full race Vitesse in the UK, and while I don't pretend to be a race leader, mine is competitive.

That's when racing with the TRs and other classics. You can see me racing here, in an Open race at Oulton last year, when I was, frankly, outclassed by the Caterfields and BTCC clones that made up the rest of the field, but it was the only race I could get that weekend. Look for the green Vitesse at about 0:40 and 1:55.
