123 USB or 123 Bluetooth ?
Discussion
Looking to upgrade to a 123 dizzy, after far too many condenser failures, and also help with the power after recent engine rebuild and mods.
The standard 123 whilst offering 16 curves, only 2 apply to a 1300, and given the mods I've done, unlikely they will work exactly. So predicticting I'll need a tuneable one, and set it up on the Dyno.
Obviously 2 version that are tuneable. The USB to connect to a laptop, or the Bluetooth version via phone, which also includes immobiliser.
Problem is from around 2015/2016 I've seen a number of reviews stating the bluetooth version App is a bit buggy.
Anyone got feedback on these options ?

I fitted one of the USB ones to the MK2 Jag and it is fantastic, starts instantly every time and has been totally fit and forget once it was set up. Have just got another one for second jag project and went for the Bluetooth one.
But despite trying 3 Iphones and an Ipad I could not get them to see the dizzy, but disappointed but the supplier is taking it back and will send me out a replacement so fingers crossed.

Well as way of an update I sent my 123 (BT one) back to the supplier and yep it was faulty.
It was repaired and sent back to me. Now fitted to the XK engine and running spot on. starting perfectly and the BT link works every time.
Really pleased with the support I got from SNG with fixing the issue and with the end result of it working on the car.
The 'Dash' function one the iphone is a very handy check and back up to the real dash in the car.
