Long shot but I am looking for two Lucas headlamps for my 1928 car. They measure across the external rim 8" and are the type fitted to a stand-up bolt to the cross bar in front of the radiator. If you should have any old lamps in the back of the garage that fit the bill perhaps you will dig them out and contact me.
My present headlamps have been ruined by modernisation rolleyes

Thanks

Always plenty of headlamps for sale on EBay. Just search for "vintage headlamps" and you'll usually find something interesting.

Alternatively these chaps offer a good selection of correctly made replacements. At a price.

Thanks for reply, I have searched ebay and put up an alert, also seen the headlamp restoration / remake business. Bit to pricey unfortunately.

Hi David.

Have you tried this place ?

https://www.vintagecarparts.co.uk/

I sourced a few parts for my Uncles '31 Wolseley from them.

Hi, thanks for link, unfortunately they do not have the bits I would like. Good pal gave me two flat headlamp glasses but I need the silver bowl reflectors now. Wether I can fit the parts into the existing shells is doubtful it will be easier to purchase replacements, if I can find the correct
items!!!

We've got a stall there again this year, best go down for the weekend, it's huge! We worth it though, it always used to be said that if you couldn't find it at Beaulieu, it couldn't be found!
