Just been watching the St Marys Cup 2 race . Why is there two BUY1 Jaguars..? The red safety car has the reg and one of the competitors has the same registration.
I posted this on the wrong thread and No Ideas kindly pointed me this way. He mentioned there was two E types in the paddock with the CUT 7 reg.
I realise they are historic numbers and have been on multiple cars nut surely only one at a time? If the clones/evocations/ replicas have the same number are they just off road show cars?

I think I understand. So all the cars originally had the relevant registrations and are not replicas, and just wear them for show to demonstrate their provenence. It wouldn't be like me putting 5 VC on my TR4, just on the driveway of course, because it never had that plate originally.
