Sorry not a Ford but I am certain from the radiator grill a Jowett from the 1936-9 period. I am
however not certain of the model whether 7 or 10 hp as body styles were shared (Jason Plover etc saloons).

Well done! Think spot on - looking again I thought the grill was flatter and thus more Jowett than Standard.

It was the grill that confused me. ?
Apparently they changed the grill during its run, 1937-1940. I reckon its a 1937 model.
The reg` number (OXF 755 ?) on my original image is not known at DVLA,where else can I check the year of a number?

XF was a London code under the old system

DXF 755 is a 1937 London issue and OXF around 1954 so suspect D correct.

Yep, Feb 1937 to Feb 1938.
