One family owned since new, and first run out today after a 2 year restoration. Owner was a top chap too, this car was bought new by his dad (now 80!) from a Vauxhall dealer in South Wales who had the car because the wife of the head of Vauxhall at the time, for whom the GT was imported, didn't want it!

Cracking car that GT,

Looks like a quality resto.

My old Man had two of them years ago, went well , I have a head light assembly for one in the compressor room at work if any body needs one.

Love seeing ancestor photos. Gives a bit of a bloodline to your car.

A little off topic, but this is the son. I bought it new in 1979.

Love the VX, but that Opel is just stunning! Shame we never got them with RHD IIRC. frown
