Yes everyone loves a Vee, one lots of stuff on classic big engines.

But here’s somewhere to show n tell your little mouse motors. Those high revving, low weight, high bhp to cc ratio.

I love the Italian mouse motors. Alfa 1300 Nord, Lancia V4, Coventry climax FWM....... what else ?

My recently finished 1300 doing 125bhp (almost the magic 100hp per litre)

I seem to remember Lancia offering a 1300 (and 1400) version of the fiat twin cam in the beta? Always wondered what this could have done in a 128 of the era.

Indeed they did offer that in the Beta
The fulvia 1.3 had as much power as the ford two litre of the day

The Fulvia V4 was an engineering work of art
I burnt a valve in one and stripped the head of the V4 replaced the valve, which was difficult to source, even in the early 90's.
Yet another car I shouldn't have sold......
