Colour match for alodized Magnesium(wheel related)

After a bit of playing trying to match the below



I tried a rattle can before spending the £££'s needed to do 4 wheels.

Came out looking gold with no green tinge





an anyone point me in the right direction? They look too gold, not enough of the green tinge. Nowhere would scan my sample part properly.

This colour could be an option but I can't find it in the UK.

Sorry, my fault. I think it's more correctly termed Alodining. The original brand name of the product was 'Alodine', a chromating chemical aimed at the aerospace industry and not to be confused with Anodising. I believe Henkel now own the brand name.

Searching for Chromate colouring might give you more leads.

I thought from the first photos you were trying to get a colour match to make them look like naturally oxidised magnesium rims like these vintage Halibrands...



I think you'll struggle to get that RPM& type finish in the UK.

If anyone can import it/get it, I would think Russ at RnR would be worth a try...?

Bit of a long shot as you might not want to do the distance but I'd give Supertune at Castle Donington a ring & see if squib still works for them.
He's a paint mixer & very very good at what he does, so much so that I'd stick my neck out to say that if he can't do it then it can't be done.
I don't know what sort of money they currently charge.

Going on recent experience you will be better off finding someone who uses the MK 1 eyeball to match the colour rather than those that rely on computer analysis.
